The Spanish phrase la nueva creacion announces &#8220;the new creation&#8221; that results from Jesus&#8217; death and resurrection. The sun reminds us of the risen Jesus. The mountains&#8217; colours evoke different kinds of vegetation. Plants, animals and birds proclaim that all of creation is renewed in the cross of Christ. Around Jesus&#8217; feet is a circle of houses.
