{"id":66,"date":"2014-03-02T11:17:01","date_gmt":"2014-03-02T18:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stcharlesedm.com\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2026-01-03T16:18:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-03T23:18:25","slug":"first-reconciliation-first-eucharist","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/saint-charles.com\/index.php\/sacramental-preparation\/first-reconciliation-first-eucharist\/","title":{"rendered":"First Reconciliation &#038; First Eucharist"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/stcharlesonline\/_\/rsrc\/1286305620261\/sacramental-preparation\/first-reconciliation-eucharist\/px_hm_14.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(For baptized youth age 7+)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Registration for Spring 2026 Classes. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registration dates &#8211; <strong>in person only<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thursdays, January 8 <strong>and <\/strong>January 15, 2026 &#8211; 10am to 6pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturdays, January 10 <strong>and <\/strong>January 17, 2026 &#8211; 10am to 1pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Or by appointment)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Children must be a minimum age of 7 years and in Grade 2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please provide a copy of each child\u2019s Baptism certificate (unless your child was baptized at St. Charles).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fee of $50 is requested for materials and workbooks (cash, cheque or e-transfer to StCharles.etransfer@caedm.ca).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is mandatory for all children to be present at each class along with a parent (or another adult). Children will have homework each week to be completed with the help of a parent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Class Schedule for Spring 2026 &#8211; <\/strong>All classes will start at <strong>6:30pm<\/strong> <strong>and end at 8pm.<\/strong> Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from January 20 to March 24. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First Communion <\/strong>will be celebrated at the Saturday evening &amp; Sunday masses during the Easter season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Classes will be offered again in October 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(For baptized youth age 7+) &nbsp; Registration for Spring 2026 Classes.
