First Reconciliation & First Eucharist

(For baptized youth age 7+)

Registration information for Fall 2024 classes. Registration is available in-person only.

Requirements:

• Children must be a minimum age of 7 years and in Grade 2.
• Please provide a copy of each child’s Baptism certificate (unless your child was baptized at St. Charles).
• A fee of $50 is requested for materials and workbooks (cash, cheque or e-transfer to office@saint-charles.com).
• It is mandatory for all children to be present at eachclass along with a parent (or another adult). Children will have homework each week to be completed with the help of a parent.

Registration in person at the parish office:

• Thursday, September 19 – 10am to 7pm
• Saturday, September 21 – 10am to 1pm
• Or by appointment

Registration for Fall classes closes Friday, September 27th. Classes will be offered again in Spring 2025.

Class Schedule for Fall 2024 – All classes will start with mass at 6:30pm and end at 8pm.

1. Tues. Oct 1 – class for 1^st Reconciliation
2. Tues. Oct 8 – class for 1^st Reconciliation
3. Tues.  Oct 15 – class for 1^st Reconciliation
   • Wed Oct 23 – Celebration of First Reconciliation
4. Tues. Oct 29 – class for 1^st Communion
5. Tues. Nov 5 – class for 1st communion
6. Tues. Nov 19 – class for 1^st Communion
7. Tues. Nov 26 – class for 1^st Communion

First Communion will be celebrated at the Saturday evening & Sunday masses in December.

Classes will be offered again starting in Spring 2025.
